  1. Beautiful, MaiTai - I have this one in dark pink and white (don't know the c/w name) and love it! I love how you have worn it as a belt/waistband - really gives a 'punch' to any outfit!

  3. Happy you enjoyed the profile, sushi queen and Stephanie.

sushi queen, your cw must be the one featured in the booklet. The cw name is not mentioned, but the code is 01.

Good luck for your hunt, Stephanie, I hope you'll find it one day soon!

  5. All looks are great, but I also like the "belt look" best - so maritime, so french-chic, so you! <3, HM

  7. Great scarf profile. My vote goes to the mors ring look. Do you know if it can be achieved with a 90'? Or would the amount of silk be too cumbersome?

  8. Thank you, dear booksnchocolate. Happy the Mors got a vote too ;-) The technique needs to be slightly adapted for the 90, too avoid the bulk. You can find a how-to here: http://maitaispicturebook.blogspot.com/2009/03/mors-scarf-ring-with-90-carre.html

  12. What a difference a tie makes. I never liked this pattern for being too loud, but, now seeing it being worn it looks wonderful. I like all combinations especially with the white coat or trousers, however, most favourite are the morse and the belt.

  13. Dear Maitai,

They are all wonderful! Each version highlights this striking scarf so well. I think my favorite is the one with the Gavroch scarf ring - the oval black Gavroch ring gives it a nice touch of accent and contrast, bringing out the bold color and the geometric design of the scarf against the soft shaped black sweater/shirt. You really know what works. Thank you!

  14. booksnchocolate, Birkinmary, angolfa and JTandIS ~ happy you enjoyed the profile, and thank you for your sweet comments xx

    booksnchocolate <3

Birkinmary, the color truly is easy to wear, as it is just bold, not bright.. flattering indeed!

angolfa, the OP'H surprised me when I tied it for the first time, especially since one does not even notice that it is covered in 'H's ;-)

Well spotted re the Gavroche ring, dear JTandIS. I do enjoy repeating the color of an accent somewhere else. Easy too, having so much black in my wardrobe ;-)
