Every day on the school run I cross this roman bridge. Sometimes, instead of heading straight home, DS and I go to the river bank for a stroll and explore.
Today wearing a simple cotton wrap dress, H-ed up with enamel bangles, Picotin and a Lena horn necklace..
The Lena necklace turned out to be a perfect match to this cute duck's beautiful coat of feathers ;-)
We had a wonderful time unwinding...
in this peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
What a beautiful setting MaiTai and of course you, as always, look lovely. How wonderful to see such scenery daily--being near water is so peaceful to me.
ReplyDeleteOh such beautiful photo's, lovely.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures :) Brings a smile to my face!
ReplyDeleteDear MaiTai, I have just stumbled across this blog. I live in Canberra, Australia. Your blog a joy. I have always wanted to learn how to tie and wear scarfs successfully. As others here have already said, you do it so very stylishly. Thank you so much for sharing so unselfishly. My Grandmother used to say copying is the sincerest form of flattery. Please be assured my copying of your style will be very sincere. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteIch freue mich schon so!!!!
ReplyDeleteandiamo, Moonspinner, dreamdoll and carolanne ~ waking up to your lovely words is the nicest way to start the day, thank you ladies!
ReplyDeleteandiamo, water has the same effect on me.. slow moving rivers, quiet lakes and rolling seas, love them all.
Moonspinner, I am happy you enjoy the wild mix, scarves one day, ducks the next ;-)
dreamdoll, soon you'll see for yourself, yay!
carolanne ~ welcome to my blog, I am so pleased you enjoy it here and I'm also flattered, thank you! Have fun with your scarves :-)

ReplyDeleteThank you Franco Fille, love your nickname ;-)
ReplyDeleteLike your photos especially of the female Mallard:o).

Uber cool colour scheme. Especially the iridescent accent on their wings. Matching the garish but pleasant colours of the males.
Mallard. You snapped a female of the species.

Uber cool colour scheme for both sexes. Fashionistas can learn much from the Mallard.
Your sense of humor rivals mine, molfluon.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have such beauty close to your home MaiTai. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteSo true lulilu and thank you. :-)
ReplyDeleteDo you live in France?
