Things I love ~ Apricots

I love apricot trees, they look so pretty with their clusters of fruit..

which dangle off them like sunshine yellow christmas baubles..

soaking up the sun for a sweet aroma and velvety texture.

The very best taste comes from those just picked,

delicious 'au nature' or with a little bit of fresh young goats cheese and a sprig of thyme. Love making apricot pie too, it's such a fabulous summer dessert.

    Apricots with goat cheese... I never thought of that but it sounds very good. I love the way you describe the trees and fruit. Thank you for bringing some sunshine into my day MaiTai...enjoy your apricots.
