Capsule wardrobe #10

I like wearing black all year round, and for a fresh and chic summer look, I love teaming it with white. Today throwing some red into the mix, inspired by some cheerful displays on yesterday's market. Have a great week ahead everyone! x

Capsules: black shirt and white jeans
Shoes: black suede ballet flats
Accessories: Muse belt in Rouge Garrance, necklace MT collection, black Clic enamel bracelet, black 35 Birkin
Inspiration: 'Pomme d'amour' candied apples, and grape tomatoes at Saturday's market ;-)

  6. And I always love reading your warm and kind comments, dear booksnchocolate, so a big 'thank you' to you. Happy you like the outfit, it is almost too much of classic color combo to be true, but the jeans break it up, which I like. Have a great week ahead too <3

  9. Very chic. I love how you embrace wearing black. Your coloring is very close to mine and I don't feel comfortable wearing black. I've had too many image consultants that I know tell me it's not my color. Maybe I should have them take a look at your picture, you look divine!

  10. Dear Trudye, ABG, Manuela and Lulu ~ you ladies are the kindest and sweetest, thank you for your lovely comments <3

It is such a treat to see YOU stopping by, dear Trudye. I have tried this look also with a black belt strap, and it works really well too. Have fun with your berries, and a lovely summer! <3

I want the MT option too on looklet, dear ABG, no more changing rooms, woohoo!! I wonder when it will become reality to go for a customised virtual shopping spree. No more removing boots and endless layers of clothing in the middle of winter, just to try on a summer dress! Would leave us more time to browse at H too, lol.

Hugs to you too, dear Manuela. Happy you like the look, which I can imagine being just fabulous on you btw! <3

Dear Lulu, if I’d be allowed just one colour for the rest of my life, I’d choose black, as it is such an easy and chic 'color'. I see it almost as a canvas, which can easily be dressed up or down, in all seasons. I would love it if you’d give it another try, regardless of image the consultant’s opinions, as I do believe it is a color that is fabulous on everyone. Good luck! <3

  16. I seem to live in black, even though it's sometimes difficult to wear in the heat of an Atlanta summer, but I can't help myself - I love my black! And, of course, I'm so glad to see that I have a "sister in crime."

You look very fresh and lovely, particularly with the addition of that touch of red. I'm truly enjoying my lovely summer red beads, and they do look like wonderful ripe berries. I've received many compliments.

  22. MaiTai - I have a new favorite. Love black as a year-round staple and have worn it for 25+ yrs. It's so easy and fresh at the same time. The addition of splashes of red is perfect. Must admit my hips don't care for white pants :-( but with your inspiration I've recently invested in a few white tops to go with the black bottoms.

Really like the connection to the colors you are seeing at the local market. Thanks for another great post!!

  23. MT, absolutely, an RG picotin would be just perfect!! Teehee =)

Great investment re the white tops, and it really does not matter which way round to wear black and white, it always looks fab. Happy you like the joie de vivre part in the style sheet, merci! <3

Hope the H gods are lending you their ear, dear DD! ;-)

You are too kind, dear Girl Meets Paris, merci. Hop over, and we’ll start on it together! <3

So kool, angolfa! Love that song, and humming it now in my head.. I do get a kick of getting different looks out of the 22 pieces, lets see how far we can stretch them.. if you gals don’t get bored, I’ll go on until they are all worn out and in shreds, LOL.
