and no computer either. It is far too hot for one or the other, so I am going to spend the rest of the day by the pool with my books and drink (still water with ice cubes, mint and a slice of lime.. simple, delicious and refreshing)
Hope you are all having a great weekend x
A perfect way to spend your day in the hot Summer! =) Lovely weekend to you xx
ReplyDeleteAh lovely, I'm heading to France next week and looking forward to seeing some sun - it has rained here for around 14 days on the trot.
ReplyDeleteYour previous post was another stunning.summer look! That color way and scarf are beautiful on you.
ReplyDeleteBut,I am glad to see you have lost the scarf for a relaxing day by the pool! And I am happy to see that you have the sunscreen close at hand and hopefully a large hat!
I am curious to know what your summer reads are?!
Enjoy a relaxing day:-)
Xx T
What a fantastic way to spend a hot Sunday: by the pool with a drink and a book. Have a great day Maitai!
ReplyDeleteGood for you MaiTai, you enjoy that sun, we are enjoying it in the UK also :)
ReplyDeleteGood to see the sun protection in the picture as that is so important!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend xx
MaiTai...
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs a no scarf day :) Enjoy. Have a great week.
Blessings -P

Hi Mai!!
ReplyDeleteJust last night I was looking into going to the South of France..and could not decide on Montipellier or Marsailles? Probably in September than off the the 'Mothership". Let me know your thoughts (after you relax by the pool). We emailed before about the fur collar (do not know if you remember). I love your blog! Hugs, Marla
MaiTai, that looks like heaven! Thanks for the photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you DD, hope you had a good one too! x
ReplyDeleteBonnes vacances, Tabitha, have a wonderful and fun time!
Merci, dear Trudye. My pool side books are ‘Suite Française’ by Irène Némirovsky, a magnificent novel about occupied France in WWII, and a cookery book. No hat though, as I keep my head in the shade! x
Did the same thing yesterday and today, dear booksnchocolate, it’s something I could get used to ;-)
Completely agree with you on the sun protection, dear JA_UK. Hope you keep cool in the heat wave we all seem to have!
Aww Penney, thanks! Have a great week too :-)
Thank you, dear Maisie! Will keep my eyes open for the LPdeC.
Hi Marla! September is a great month to come to the South of France. It is still very much summer, but not as hot as in July and August, and it is less crowded too. Marseille and Montpellier are two very different places, it really depends what you like to do in your holidays. Feel free to send me an email, and of course I remember our previous exchange!
Thank you for you sweet comment, Ana :-)
How lovely, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMerci, dear Blighty <3
