Last week, the horseman on FSH's rooftop was holding the same Aloha Carrés as on my previous visit to Paris,
..but the new corner window display could not have been more different from the opulent wonderland of flowers, patisseries and sweets from the previous display:
This time, the atmosphere and materials were ultra sharp and modern, with a beautiful horse made of layers of leather and stainless steel as a centerpiece in the corner window, amongst Kellys and a Bolide in fresh spring colours..
And more beautiful arrangements.. the windows along the rue Fbg St Honoré and the rue Boissy d'Anglas

ReplyDeleteSo inspiring! I'm a very recent convert to H scarves, however have been reading your beautiful blog for a while now. Are you able to tell me the name of the smaller bag in the last photo? The bag where the handle sits flat?

My dearest MaiTai,
ReplyDeleteThese windows are truly something else - who else can bring together stainless steel, leather and silk so beautifully and naturally - almost warm and sensual, quite intriguing. And against the clean and metallic background, the bags must have stood out and sparkled like jewels. The last trio of the treasured red beauties just go straight to my heart. Thank you for always sharing so generously with all of us, and a million compliments for the great photography - everything so near and vivid, like one can reach to touch. Hope you'll have a most lovely Sunday, with much love and the happiest hugs xx
Fabulous photos of the Hermes windows MaiTai! Hermes always come up with interesting designs for their windows and the new ones are very different - the horse is amazing! Thank you for sharing, SA:-)
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! These pics are delicious...!
ReplyDeleteOff topic question: have you done any posts illustrating scarf options with the Hermes Romance belt/scarf ring or the Hermes Bradoon Bridle Stainless? If you have, please tell me the date stamp of those posts. Thank you so much!
TTFN!
Those red croc bags, oh my! And that saddle in the top picture, is that metallic leather?
ReplyDeleteNo matter the theme or aesthetic, these windows are always jaw-droppingly gorgeous.
Spring, Paris and Hermès. Such a wonderful combination! Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures MaiTai.
ReplyDeleteStunning as always; those stylists outdo themselves every new season. I am in serious lust for the brown crocodile Bolide, and everything else as well! Thanks for the lovely view!
ReplyDeleteMy dear ladies, you are so sweet to have commented, it always makes my day to come here and read everyones thoughts. So glad you enjoyed the trip to FSH, it is always such a pleasure to share here with you. xx
ReplyDeleteA, the bag is a Kelly Pochette
FrmBkln, I don't have the Romance or the Bradoon Bridle, but perhaps these Mors ring links might help:

Deja Pseu, the saddles baffle me.. they are metallic leather(the first one is embossed with animals, flowers etc) but they are also adorned with studs.. beautiuful to look at, but less convenient in a practical sense!
Thanks MT for the window pics ! I feel like I'm standing in front of it drooling over the yummy bags.
ReplyDeleteDrooling right next to you, dear Chkpfbeliever! ;)
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous... Thank you for sharing these pictures! I always want everything displayed in the Hermès store windows.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat, I'm totally swooning over the beautiful displays. They never fail to put a smile on my face. Thanks for sharing, hope we can visit FSH together again soon xx
