The window displays chez Hermès on the rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré (FSH) last week, hope you'll enjoy (a video showing the installations by Manuel Mérida will follow in separate post).
Hermès window displays March 2012 Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré
Wowzer....color pop just the eye opener I needed on a rainy day! Again,as always, these displays never cease to blow me away! I think those colorful little boxes are just darling:) I am sure their price tag is not! The attention to detail in the FSH displays is beyond the imagination!! Thank you so much for sharing this awesome treasure! Warm hugs, Txx
Nothing beats a spring greeting from H, especially on a rainy day! We are having a downpour here too (much needed though) and it's fun to look at all the color.
I almost did not manage to get the post up though, Blogger has changed all settings on April 1. I find it quite a nightmare, everything that was easy before seems to have become complicated/impossible, at least pour moi.
What opulence, just perfect after a dull and damp day, thank you for sharing. If I had a clutch lifestyle and lots of surplus cash, I'd be quite tempted by the croc jige. I saw the ring with a brown gemstone (not sure which) in the store and was quite taken; in a different life I would have enquired about the price...
Hope you get to grips with the new Blogger soon or is it time to investigate Wordpress?
Breathtaking, superbe!!!! Wow! !!! Such beautiful window displays! When you look at them you feel Spring has arrived. I can´t wait to see the video. Thank you for taking us to Paris with you again, my dear MaiTai. I do hope blogger becomes easier to handle. Blowing Spring kisses to you <3 Manuela
Dear Mme MaiTai, The red display is astonishing. It makes me want to issue a worldwide ban on black. Spring is wonderful isn't it? We are hanging on to the remnants of Summer here in Chile. But the lovely thing about Autumn is that a silk scarf is just that thing... Always wonderful reading your posts. love Lindaxxx
My dearest Maitai, Color it is! And no one does it like H. The gorgeous exuberant colors make me so happy - the croc Picotin is incredible - and the corner window is just too fun and playful! Thank you as always, dear MaiTai, you are truly spoiling us. Hope Blogger will stop giving you trouble - I know much energy and love you put into bringing us so much <3 Sending you much love and big happy rainbow hugs xxx
Oh MAITAI how delicious! Just what this day needed as once again Britain is plunged into winter!!!!! I adore the Hermes orange and seeing the pink underneath it in your fabulous post it makes such a gorgeous combination! Having just purchased a fuchsia pink pair of jeans (very unlike me as I usually stick to neutrals and soft sludgy tones!!!) I am absolutely inspired to combine them with an equally zingy colour! Thank you so much for such brilliant Spring inspirations. Can I put in a personal request for some Hermes inspired colour combinations with your own divine wardrobe looks please? Especially coordinating with fuchsia! Warmest wishes from a rainy England - Glenda xxx
Dear Glenda, love the sound of your new pair of jeans, just perfect for spring and summer! Many thanks for the great challenge, I will try my best to get a post on this together soon. First I have to find the perfect pair of fuchsia jeans though ;) wish me luck! In the meantime, a white shirt with a zingy colored scarf is always great, and works well with ballet flats, sandals or canvas sneakers x
Thank you for sharing w/ us these gorgeous shop window displays. What a feast for the eyes! You expert photos and layout truly do justice for these 'jewels'.
Wow! What glorious color...I love it all--especially the ??? I was going to pick one but after I scrolled back up, I couldn't. It is interesting to see Hermes' take on colorblocking--since I am seeing it everywhere now (I just posted yesterday Coach's tribute to the Willis bag--redesigned and colorblocked on some of the offerings). Thank you for sharing these!
How luscious! The colors, the textures...glorious! Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures; the FSH windows never fail to delight. Your trip sounded wonderful; so nice to take a few days out for romance in the Paris spring. Nice to have you back!
Oh my dear Mai Tai, How I envy your ability to pop over to Paris each new season and witness first hand the unbelievable Hermes window wonderland!! For the rest of your lucky fans....we get to drool together!! How brilliant a company to constantly cause us to want so much....without really needing a thing! :-) And oh those prices keep climbing....where will it end?? So many thanks for this vision of spring! Stay well my dear friend....off to dream! xxoo Orange gaga
Dear MaiTai, Thanks so much for sharing the FSH windows with us, so fun to see. They are a tad more exuberant than those at my local boutique! ;-) While I love seeing all the bright colors, I'm most drawn to the crisp, clean look of the black and white window! So sorry to hear of the Blogger changes and challenges. Hoping your posting goes more smoothly from here on!
Thank you so much for that wonderful spring treat! I keep coming back to oogle the goodies. Love the reds - I'll take one of each please - minus the diamond encrusted CDC. Bit too OTT for me. :) And LOVE the croc Plumes - my favorite H bag in croc. It's simple lines show the skins to perfection.
Thank you again. Your blog is always one I look forward to reading. Hope you work out your problems. It seems many bloggers are experiencing the same.
It is always a special joy to share H’s beautiful displays here, and it is always wonderful to hear that you enjoy it too. Many thanks for sharing your thoughts, observations and fun remarks, my dear Bienchen, déjà pseu, Manuela, Tereza, msT, Gina, Laura in Georgia, xoxo, Scarf Enthusiast, Glenda, steppingmywaytobliss, Reese, Orange gaga, NiniKnows, Maria and reyahs kitchen. Many thanks also for the kind words re the blogger issues, your sweet support means so much to me. I am still troubled by a number of issues (one of them is how to attach a link to a photo.. Anyone?), but I am hoping to get over most of them soon. Warmest hugs to you all x

Someone needs to fan me, you've taken my breath away!
ReplyDeleteComing right over, wiht a fan and a bourbon ;)
DeleteMai Tai, me too, Iam clunking round the new Blogger.
ReplyDeleteHow to resize pics or insert text? I am completely lost!

ReplyDeleteI'll have one of each please. Imagine.
ReplyDeleteThe color was beautiful, but my favorite bag was the ivory with crisp black trim.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all of the pictures. Now let me clean up the drool. Only kidding....or not. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe scarf in the last picture is really starting to grow on me. So much for thinking nothing from the S/S 2012 selection would interest me.
Gorgeous color, I love it all but I'm drawn to the black and white bag most of all. Thank you for sharing these wonderful images.
