Lovely pix as usual and I shall look forward to more colourful pictures once the weather plays along. Yay to the trees being in leaf again, shrubs and trees are changing on a daily basis here. I am so with you on the layering, April showers and all that.
ReplyDeleteDearest Bienchen, so true re the daily changes, it makes nature the best show to watch! Keep warm and cool ;) and have a very happy remaining Easter!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely and comfortable. What other drinks would be available for us coffee NONdrinkers? LOL
ReplyDeleteThe Lagoon necklace is beautiful and reminds me a great deal of green turquoise.
My eggs are up, too, and I hope you had a lovely Easter!
Happy Easter to you, my dear Laura! Ms Lagoon is waving and says thank you ;) As for drinks, how about a glass of rosé? It's what we had at the next café stop..chin chin to spring <3
DeleteYoui look gorgeous and I want to be right there, it looks divine! Happy Easter Maitai.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a favourite scarf? And how do you choose what to buy? Pattern? Colour?
x
Hope to be sitting with you in a french café one day, dear FF. Here is a post on how I chose scarves How to choose a scarf Re my favorite, I could not chose!
DeleteHappy Easter, MaiTai. You look stunning in neutrals, as always!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Easter, dear SophieG!
DeleteI hope you had a lovely Easter MaiTai. Always nice seeing Ms Bolide. Whenever I see her she makes me wish I had gone with Epsom instead of Clemence when I bought mine years ago. Oh well... live and learn. I'm loving your neutrals as well. Have a wonderful week. xxS
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely Easter too! Re the Bolides, I love them in Clemence as well (fantasizing about a 37 in black) ;)
DeleteYou look beautiful, as always, my dear MaiTai.
ReplyDeleteThe red background is the perfect frame for your look, which I love.
Can´t wait to welcome Ms. Blue Jean. She is so pretty!
We are also dealing with cold weather again. It has even snowed in April, imagine!
I wish you a lovely week ahead. Warm hugs to you, Manuela
So happy you liked the post and Ms Blue Jean! Hope she will soon be able to join the happy waterfall family. Can't believe you had snow, stay warm and cosy <3
DeleteHappy easter to you too Mai Tai, I hope you had a lovely long weekend. Such a delightful cafe, very french, very relaxing. PS I love your LFASDV with this relaxed outfit, she is a beautiful scarf.
ReplyDeleteOur weekend was blissful, hope you had a most wonderful Easter too! Re café was so sweet, and the LFASDV always such a great companion.
DeleteYes, the weather in Europe is typically cold for Easter , one solace is that it can make for great scarf wearing opportunities.
ReplyDeleteYour Femme is so so beautiful ! I have dipped into the beauties of this design with my treasured cashmere shawl , and would love to find this one too.
I also love your photos of the typical Provencal water fountain and square with plane trees . Many happy days have been spent in places like this , and it's time to revisit that part of France .
Your latest necklaces are beautiful , and you look amazing wearing the blue one .
We scarf lovers always have the best of both worlds.. it's either beautiful outside, or perfect scarf wearing weather ;) Glad the post triggered happy memories. Wish I'd be twins with you on the cashmere La Femme!
DeleteIt is very simple dressing Mai Tai, yet, you look so elegant and sophisticated. I am going to copy this, but I do not think I will look as good as you.
ReplyDeleteIf you can, some more ideas for a layered look,it's much better seeing it on a person.
thank you.
I have always been a fan of simple dressing, and it is so nice to hear you like the look. Layering is not only great when having to adapt to differences in temperatures, but also when having different occasions. Later in the day we picked up DS from a party, and had drinks with the other parents. I took the grey sweater off, and wore the t-shirt and blazer with just the necklace.
DeleteDearest MaiTai,
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family had a most joyous Easter! You look so lovely, relaxing and enjoying under the gentle sun - you're simply glowing. We seem to be having very similar weather here too, and indeed so wonderful to greet the fresh buds and leaves again. Dear MaiTai, I cannot tell you how much I admire and appreciate each and every one of your fabulous outfits, and your most beautiful and unique designs. Your 'once around criss-cross' is one of my favorites <3 Hoping the skies will warm up for you soon, sending you much love and big happy spring hugs xxx
Hope you had a most happy and wonderful Easter too, my Dearest! I was hoping for a light colored spring look for Easter, but Mother Nature decided on colors which matched the 'La Femme'. Having her out was more than compensating for any warm sunshine though <3 Sending you much love and happy hugs right back x

DeleteMerci beaucoup, MaiTai!

Pardon, J'ai oublié de vous féliciter. :)
ReplyDeleteMerci, Lara <3
