Capsule wardrobe # 63 - how to wear a dark scarf in a summery way? Part III

In a variaton of the previous post (how to wear a scarf with a dark background/border in a summery way), opting for the same black top as before, but this time adding a coral pair of jeans and matching lipstick for a summery touch.

Capsule pieces: black tank top and coral jeans
Shoes: black patent leather pumps
Accessories: Hermès 'Circuit 24 Faubourg' 90 Carré, clic H enamel bracelet in black and and clic clac H enamel bracelet in bleu indiens.
Scarf tying method: Pleated bow knot. Fold your scarf into rectangle and secure the ends in a criss-cross knot. Please click here for a how-to.
Scarf ring: MaiTai Collection horn shawl ring in black with sunshine

The instruction for this cute origami horse (I did not suceed 100%, but it was fun nevertheless) are no longer available on www.hermes.com. I saved them on my computer though, and if you would like a copy, please send me an email with 'Hermès origami horse' as subject, and I will mail you back a file with the how-to.

I love this silk for all of the different variations you have graced us with and think it will be a delightful transitional one as well. I cannot wait to see how that plays! Enjoy a lazy day by the pool an remember your sun screen and hat! Cheers to lazy summer days, T xx

  5. You know how much I love and admire your style and therefore of course all three looks are great and effortlessly chic. Actually quite jealous of those fabulous coral jeans, as I was looking for some colourful pieces on sale, but all I found was "neutrals". ;-) But if I had to choose a summer look out of these three I'd opt for the white jeans (another must have on my list). Have a great week, xox, Macs

  6. It´s not easy to choose, dear friend. They are all so pretty!
I think my favourite is the first one (on the left).
Hope you are enjoying great sunny days.
Up here today it looked very much like Autumn: rain, and rain, and more rain....
I wish you a lovely week ahead. Warm, Summer hug, Manuela

  7. My dearest MaiTai,

What an incredibly cheerful and beautiful post to come back to!! Missed you so much <3 I have missed so many posts and am very much looking forward to properly studying them all. How much I love and adore your outfit today - it is as happy and as chic as can be - only you could have created this fabulously summery delight. I truly love all three variations - chiming in with the other dear ladies from a previous post, you are the kindest-sweetest-most generous style goddess ever! I too love wearing black in the summer and your posts so clearly reveal the wonderful versatility of our new and beloved Circuit, of course in the hands of a style genius like you. Lastly, thank you and a huge bravo for your magnificent origami horse, it's perfect! Hope you've been well and enjoying the long summer days. Sending you all my love and a million happy hugs xox

    1. Welcome back, most dearest Scarf Enthusiast! You were much missed, and I am sure not just by me <3 It is such a joy to be Circuit twins with you, and very happy you like all three variations. You are too kind re the origami horse. I truly struggled with it at times, and I know the end result is not quite as it was meant to be.. still, it is so cute and in a CW I was also very tempted by! Have a most wonderful week back home, and happy summer days to you too xx

  8. Dear MaiTai,

I love all 3 looks! If I have to choice I would say my first choice would be the one on the left. I wish the weather in my country is more scarf-friendly. It's so hot & humid where I am located!

  9. Dear MAI TAI, all your solutions are nice but I prefer the first one (scarf as a belt) because here in Italy it's too hot to wear something around your neck.

    1. Chère Myriam, moi j'adore le noir aussi, même en plein été! La chaleure ne nous permet pas non plus de porter un foulard autour du cou a ce moment. Aujourd'hui, je l'ai echangé pour un maillot. Restez frais! Amitiés

The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Opera.

I'm not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I
figured I'd post to let you know. The style and design look great though!

Hope you get the problem solved soon. Cheers
