More Paris neutrals, and a souvenir

The tone set by the beautiful neutrals in the corner window display of FSH carried on through our stay, the colour palette of most Parisian facades reflect the beautiful scarves and bags seen the day before. After a busy morning, we went strolling through the garden of the Palais-Royal, a wonderful outdoor spot, and true oasis in the midst of the busy 1st arrondissement. Its rows of clipped trees, immaculate gravel, ornate lanterns and central fountain exude a quiet elegance, while dotted around benches invite contemplation of the beauty of the jardin and the surrounding arcades, lined with restaurants, cafés and shops.


Located in the northeast corner, the Restaurant du Palais Royal invites with a charming and romantic terrace (and a marquise in taupe, no less!), and a wonderful view of the garden.. in short, it is a perfect spot for an alfresco lunch

    What lovely photos of the jardin and outdoor cafe in keeping with the neutral theme. So easy on the eye...and then along comes da bomb! OMG! I am so excited and happy for your new souvenir purchase! This is stunning and I love the 35 format. Cannot wait to see modeling pics. I have a feeling this will become a workhorse for you!     Love the bag and jealous of the wonderful people watching in Paris.

    I never get tired of looking at all your older posts and seeing your outfits and accessories.

    Do you wear Hermes clothes too? In the shop in Brisbane where I live they have a very limited selection, but they are lovely.

      The people watching in the city of lights is superior indeed, I regard sitting in a café a cultural activity.The bag is a dream come true, so happy you like her too. I don't own any RTW, I shrink at the cost! xx

    Oh la la! Be still by beating heart! Your new addition is to die for. It was the etoupe Kelly's in the FSH window that caught my eye too. You must be thrilled. So, as a fellow lover of neutrals, did you get a scarf from the gorgeous palette on display?? Look forward to the modelling pics.

      Thank you for sharing my joy, my dear msT <3 I am so very thrilled and happy with Ms Etoupe, and wish I could add a scarf from the window displays! But I've been told they are 'one-offs', and not for sale. Hopefully an indication though for more neutrals to come in the future! xx

      Ma chère Myriam, je suis ravi d'être 'etoupe cousins' avec vous! Aux pays des epices est le plus beau des mes carrés pour aller avec le Kelly, mais j'espère on va trouver plein de beau et calme couleurs dans la collection de 2013! Une belle journée à vous

    What a lovely bag Tai. I don't have a Kelly yet, but sat next to a lady with this exact bag at a restaurant in Monaco last year, and have been lusting after one ever since!

      Liebe Majara, vielen Dank für die Anregung. Normalerweise befinden sich in meiner Tasche ein Kleingeld Portemonnaie, eine Brieftasche, Sonnenbrille und Kamera mit Etuis, eine Notizagenda mit Stift, Haus-und Autoschlüssel, Handy und ein Kosmetiktäschchen. Das letztere fällt zur Zeit gerade auseinander, aber ich suche seit geraumer Zeit (aber ohne Erfolg) eine Karo PM als Ersatz. Sobald dieser gefunden ist, mache ich gerne ein Foto!
