I'm an animal lover but, yes, a fur wearer, too, and of course, I'll continue to add to my collection of MT fur collars, but I certainly respect everyone's feeling regarding real vs. faux and commend you for being sensitive to this issue and providing your ultra-chic collar in both varieties. Now, everyone can be fur or faux fabulous.

I have spent hours today evening reading the previous posts, to refresh my memories from the very beginning of your blog... I will repeat myself saying how gorgeous your collection is, how wonderful your taste for scarves is and how much you get out of them all, also will thank you for the encyclopedia of style you have been revealing to us during the years - however, I would like to emphasize I am really fascinated by your effort you are putting into your blog. Your collection also deserves tremendous work, a lot of attention and care and you are my encouragement confirming that work and love produce results. Would you be willing to comment once about how you create the items, what is your inspiration, and so on - I have always been interested in how creative processes are developed. Love, Lea

Re your question, I often refer to the items as members of the family, which is what they are to me. A huge amount of passion, work and care goes into each new addition. Many of the ideas come from listening, to myself and others (quite a few lovely ladies inquiried if the fur collars will be available in faux fur one day!). A lot of thought goes into creating the ideal shape, size, functionality and design, a process I enjoy just as much as finding beautiful materials, and working together with skilled craftsmen to bring the designs to life. It takes time and patience before the first perfect prototypes come out of the process, and when they do, it feels like a new member to the family is born. So yes, work and love it is <3
