The
conditions could not have been better, two days before there was a
fresh snowfall, and we had sunshine and blue skies during our entire
stay.
warming up with chocolat chaud avec chantilly...
The Circuit 24 Faubourg was the scarf I pulled out most...
... as it was such a fresh and perfect match to my black/chocolate skiing outfit
It ended up being one of our coldest skiing holidays.. last Saturday the maximum was -10˚C (14F˚) and the minimum (felt temperature) -30˚C (-22F˚)....brrrrr!
In the meantime, the orchid almost came out (so glad it didn't while we were away) ...
Have a lovely remaining week everyone
Welcome back, dear MT! What a beautiful, idyllic place for a ski holiday! The fresh snowfall on the roofs resembles layer upon layer of eiderdown comforters. Circuit 24 Faubourg seems to be one of your favorites, and for good reason. Very lovely. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWarm orange hugs,
CS

DeleteYes, me also I already was missing you ! In the meantime I looked at your blog. but difficult to read all. It's why I am curious sometimes and ask you questions that I dont' know. Exampple : I said you could work for Hermes and you said you already work, but I have not guessed what you do, it it the beautiful corn "boucles" ? Also you used a lot of initials so I dont know who are some of them. Maybe one is your son? Anyway, where were you in the Alps ? Megève may be, the snow is really good for skying at the time.
ReplyDeleteKindest regards.
I missed all of you ladies too! Glad you are asking the questions, and it reminds me that I really should be doing a post about on abbreviations.. Re your other question, I just love what I am doing now (my babies are the blog and the collection), and this does keep me very very busy! And yes, we were in the Alps, in the Haute Savoie. The snow was absolutely amazing. Amicalement MT
DeleteGorgeous with that chocolate fleece. Did you tuck the ends after tying in slide? Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of my fav scarves as well ;)
Hello my dear C24F twin! I didn't tuck the ends into the scarf. Before setting off again, I zipped up the top a little higher.
DeleteThanks for your answer MT but last question, promis! What sort of collection are you making? Monica
ReplyDeleteOh, it's a growing collection of scarf and shawl rings, fox and faux fur collars, scarf travel pochettes, bracelets and necklaces!
DeleteMaiTai Collection
Please never stop asking questions :-)

DeleteDear MT thank you very much for your interesting information. Once I will kindly disturb you about folding the big casmere H ones which I use particularly when travelling. And I will find how to ordrer a ring for scarfs and shawls. I have to admit thai I like also very much all bags of Chanel less classic it's true but my heart is with Hermes! And I have 4 Evelyne different bi coulour and brown, black etc. And I am thinking seriously to buy another Birkin 35 but it's very long to get it and I hesitate fir colour. I can sax you have encouraged me because on you it's si class that I begin to love them again very much. I hesitate for colour may be grey but I have never seen it. I'll ask. I have the Beige Kelly and also in yellow and too big Birkin in brown but too heavy. In any case yes I agree with all your supporter your blog is very very an important one by "son raffinement" et votre gentlesse and politesse. Sorry to put some French words my English is bad. Waiting with impatience new pictures and useful advices. Best regards. Monica
ReplyDeleteBag dilemmas are always such fun to ponder! Your collection sounds lovely, and a 35 Birkin would be a great addtion. Have you seen the color Graphite yet? It's a warm grey and a wonderful chameleon color, it seems to go with everything. Love the french words you used, and hope will enjoy the future posts and pictures too!
DeleteSoory for mistakes of typing with I Phone ! Have a beautiful week end.
ReplyDeletePlease don't worry for a second re the typos <3 Hope you had a wonderful weekend too.

Can't tell you how wonderful it is to have you back, you were so very missed <3 No freezing temperature can keep you from looking the absolute loveliest amongst the snow capped Alps - our twin C24 is so gorgeous on you, especially against the incredible blue sky. So very glad you had a happy and wonderful time with your family. Thank you as always for the breathtaking photos. Wishing you a lovely weekend home. Much love and big happy welcome home hugs xxx

ReplyDeleteOnce the unpacking and laundry are done I hope you can relax into a much warmer, sun filled weekend. Warm thoughts and hugs, T xx
Lovely to see you again, my dearest Trudye! DS was having fun off piste and in the snow park this time (not with me, but with his class!) The highlight apparently was a huge airbag, where you land after hurling yourself off a fast and steep jump. Hope all is happy and well, and wishing you a lovely weekend too! xx
DeleteHello--I am looking for the Circuit 24 Faubourg scarf online, but cannot find the colors you feature in the post. This appears to be a turquoise pattern on a rich brown background. The web site doesn't show that color combination. Hoping you can help. Thank you. Joanne Walker
ReplyDeleteThe C24F was part of last year's spring/summer collection, and therefore might have sold out online. You can always ask in a H store if they can do a search for you, some boutiques might still have it. The reference number is: 002684S06 The color description is: noir/khaki foncé/turquoise (the border is black). Good luck!
DeleteThank you for your gracious response.
DeleteGreat work! That is the type of info that are meant to be shared across
ReplyDeletethe internet. Shame on the search engines for not
positioning this submit upper! Come on over and seek advice from my
site . Thank you =)
