What gorgeous Spring photos! Such a lovely view out to the Pyrénées too. Here spring seems to be finally on its way, and it can't come soon enough!
ReplyDeleteThose peppers, olives and bread look delicious, as does that glass of something sparkling. :)
Spring is probably my favourite time of year, and I love seeing the leaves unfurl and the buds blossom. I think the fact that it is so late here makes me appreciate it all the more.
Have a lovely week!

PS: I don't know if you saw my earlier comment re my lovely cashmere scarf, but since it was my mother's (she kindly gave me one since she had two of the same design, although different colours), I'm not sure just what the name is. I will try to find out the name and colourway. Hoping we are scarf twins! :)
Many thanks for the lovely and kind comment, dear Melusine. Hope spring is well on it's way by know! Re the cashmere scarf, perhaps you did not see my reply...if you could email me a pic, I might be able to help identifying the design (maitaicollection@orange.fr) It would be lovely to be scarf twins with you :-) Have a wonderful weekend ahead, hopefully filled with warm spring sunshine!
DeleteOh this is a vision of spring and new life, I think we are a week behind you.
ReplyDeleteHope spring has caught up by now, have a beautiful weekend!
DeleteEnjoy your spring dear Mai Tai, we are enjoying autumn 'down under'. I think spring and autumn are wonderful.

Have a wonderful spring too, deary Happy!
DeleteBeautiful images: fresh bread, olives, champagne. One could almost smell the freshness of the food and the delicious Occitan air... thank you!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the lovely comment, so happy you enjoyed the images. As Barbara A said, the simple pleasures are the best of all.
DeleteGreat photos and I especially like your champagne glasses, they remind me of the ones Ina Garten uses on her show 'Barefoot Contessa.' Thanks for this post! XO, Jill
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jill. Love the champagne glasses too, but they weren't mine (we stayed with friends). Enjoy a great weekend!
DeleteThis proves that the simplest things in life are the most luxurious of all!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring Mai Tai!
Barbara A
This is so very true, dear Barbara. Happy spring to you too!
DeleteBeautiful pictures which remind me same parts in Provence. We were going each year before I can smell the olives' fresh bread, and the songs of birds. Monica
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear that the pictures brought back some good memories, dear Monica! The olives look (and tasted) exactly like Picholines from our area...
DeleteMmmm!!!! Everything looks delicious and I am sure it tasted great! To good food, champagne and Spring!
ReplyDeleteHave a good remaining week, my dear MaiTai! Spring hugs, M xx
The taste was as wonderful as the look, my dearest Manuela! Have a wonderful weekend ahead. Bisous and hugs xx
