FSH inspiration - Spring ideas

Inspired by the beautiful pastels of Hermès' FSH windows and the warm sunshine of recent days, trying out a few ideas for spring....

Capsule wardrobe pieces: jacquard trousers and light beige sweater
Accessories: Hermès 'Aux Pays des Epices' 90 carré, Clic H enamel bracelet in marron glacé and Birkin in Gris-T. Generic sparkling bracelet
Shoes: Beige 25 Belle Viviers
Scarf tying method: Cowboy knot, with ends secured in the basic slide with a Moyenne MaiTai Collection Classique horn scarf ring in sunshine honey. Instead of using a scarf ring, you can tie the ends into a double knot.

Variation: although pink isn't my natural habitat, it is sometimes fun to venture into less tested and comfortable waters..

Capsule wardrobe pieces: jaquard trousers, light pink cardie and ecru sleeveless top
Shoes and accessories: as above
Scarf tying method: Basic slide (with the scarf wound loosely once around the neck), ends secured with a Moyenne MaiTai Collection Classique horn scarf ring in sunshine honey. Instead of using a scarf ring, you can tie the ends togehter in a double knot.

Lovely colour combos here and they go very well with miss Gris T,
Also loved all your Hermes windows they were breathtaking.

You are so lucky to have such warm weather as it is so cold and wet at the moment where I am, I am longing for some warm sun.

    Have a great week ahead

  6. This looks so fresh and crisp. Outfit no 2 is absolutely adorable. It makes me want some neutral Hermes scarves. I've gravitated towards bright colours so far...but I love grey and white and cream. The Hermes shop where I live doesn't have a lot of options, it's a fairly small operation.

Hope you are well, looking forward to seing what you wear in spring x

    1. A neutral scarf would be a lovely addition to your beautiful collection! Quite a few of the spring/summer scarves come in neutral/soft CWs, hope you’ll find one you love!

  8. Dearest MaiTai,
I think you look gorgeous with the soft colours and I like to see you with the light pink cardie on :-). It´s lovely to look at your pictures and think of Spring when there´s snow all over.
Love your "Aux Pays des Épices", one of my favourite Hermès scarves.
I have a question. Do you happen to know what the two "envelopes" in the previous post are? (Hermès window, after the light pink Kelly).

Have a lovely day! Warm, cosy hugs, M xx

    1. We haven’t got snow, but it’s been cold today and so the pink spring look seems as distant to me as to you. As far as I remember the envelopes are called just that.. envelopes! Have a lovely weekend x

  11. Dearest MaiTai,

    KO us w/ a feather!

Luv that little touch of pink you added to such a soft lovely background. MaiTai, you do pink like no other--with great sophistication. (bcuz, pink can easily gravitate towards the cliche, if overdone)

What's so very special about everything you do is how you find ways to connect one treasure to another. And ya know, it's all about love, and it says volumes about you.

So dear MaiTai, thank you again for sharing w/ us. It's a big treat to stop by here and behold.

  12. Writing a (repeated) ode to APdE scarf will probably not bring it to me...ahhh...
Therefore the question - might you reveal the brand of your nice rose/pink cardigan and say some words about its quality?
I am personally tired of low quality knitwear, even if rather high price paid for them...any advice appreciated.
You positively surprise each time - when it seems that there are few options, you always surprise by your nice ensembles of clothing, life and harmony...
    Love, Lea

    1. Hello my dear Lea! The APdE might not be re-issued yet, but the ‘La Réale’ comes out this spring! We’ll get there... one scarf at the time.
The cardie is from H&M, I bought it years ago. It still looks like new, but haven’t worn it much ;-) Buying something inexpensive is a good way to start experimenting with a new color, and in some cases they hold out just as well as more expensive items.

  13. I understand your hesitation with pink because I feel the same. However, that shade of pink appears to flatter your complexion beautifully. Not to mention how gorgeous it looks with the Gris B and your TDF Espices scarf. Every time I see it here I just die a little bit for letting that one get away from me. (Though I do have it in the blanc/red/gold CW)

Thank you again for your stunning pictures of the FSH windows. You have made my Hermes Pinterest board very happy. :)

    1. How nice to be Epices twins with you, and happy you had fun re-pinning the windows! Ms Gris T and Epice hit it off straightaway. It is just wonderful when a new treasure teams up so well with an old favorite. Bon week-end!

  14. Dearest MaiTai,

Spring has sprung, especially for those of us who are experiencing the very cold temps! Pink is not a color we see you in too often, but you look so lovely in this photo! These are two very pretty color combinations and I am in love with your RV's! This is one of my favorite scarves...this CW seems to blend with so much.

    Lovely as always,
    Simone xx

    1. Dearest Marla, I don’t wear the pale neutrals often, but as you said, they are lovely for this time of year! The RVs are regular patent leather. Must take a close up! xx
