    1. The pink would be perfect companion for the beautiful spring in Barcelona, my dearest ilsa! I have not found a new scarf yet, but then again, I have not seen that many. There are some I like, but then the CWs don't suit me, or if they do, I'm not too crazy about the design. Hope the right one will come along eventually! Have a wonderful weekend x

  2. Dearest MaiTai,

After looking at this gorgeous post. I started to think that maybe I should give the leopard a chance.:-)
You made some fantastic combinations! I do like them! What is it you can´t do, my dear?
You are such a great source of inspiration!!! I can´t find words, really.
Love both looks!!! Don´t you think something similar could be done with snake pattern or leopard in blue and grey?

Thank you for bringing so much joy into my days <3 Manuela''

    1. Dear Manuela,
you found exactly the words, which my feelings best discribe:
MaiTai is bringing so much joy into my days, as well!
Sometimes I really feel like a young "groupie", but now I know, I have some "sisters" all over the world feeling the same...

    4. Dearest Manuela, you'd rock leopard!! I can see us all becoming a feline gang, thanks to FF! Re your question, I think all of the looks would go with snake print (or any other print), and also with leopard in blue/grey (just adjust the wardrobe/accessory colors accordingly). Have a GRRREAT weekend! x

Dearest Claudia and Lea, my lovely sweet sisters! It's such a joy to hang out with you here, and so much fun to share our passions and thoughts. Thanks so much for making this such a happy and lively place! Hugs to you both x

  5. Oh my God there's MORE!!!!

I really love the pale pink cardy with the scarf-as-belt. So pretty.

I have a really good style challenge for you next time Maitai.

Sequins. Yes that's right. Sequins. Or beading.

Surely scarves can live in harmony with them? xxx

  8. True . I was not found of leopard but as you presented it with all these combinations, I will like it for sure, it's not vulgar and very cihic.

  9. Both looks are divine, although I'm bonkers for the autumn look. ( I only own one pink blouse...not much of a pink person) Isn't it wonderful how leopard prints actually coordinate with so many different patterns and colours?! Now I DO have loads of leopard in my wardrobe, including the Celine luggage tote (sorry Hermes). I wish that Hermes would make a leopard Picotin or Bolide. A leopard bag is uber sophisticated when wearing all black. Come on Hermes!!

    1. I like the pink look too, and the funny thing is that I'm not much of a pink person, and I certainly haven't been a leopard person for the last thirty years! Taking to leopard though! Looking forward to winter already, and to teaming it with black (I say YES to a Picotin in leopard).. Have a great weekend x

    1. I would have never thought to mix leopard with anything ;-) This challenge has been such an eye-opener!

  13. MT, I think you're having way too much fun with this! I never would have thought of pairing leopard with pale pink, but it works and adds a soft and feminine touch to the cat print.

I love the cinnamon combination, though. As our beloved Tony the Tiger (probably known only to the US contingent) would say . . . GRRRRRREAT!

Now, here's the question. After you've completed FF's challenge (and moved on to her next one), will you continue to wear your leopard-print pieces? Have they grown on you?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes, they have grown on me! I particularly love the cardigan, perhaps because of the cooler colors. I've worn it quite a lot, and hope summer is not coming too quickly. Glad Tony the Tiger approves, might add tiger stripes one day!

  14. By the way I remember, I had a leopard skirt, it was not too short, nor too tied but right and I wore it with a silk shirt and a beige cardigan and a brown H birkin. It wad vety chic.
