It's been a few weeks since I've
been to Paris and took these pictures, but now that spring is firmly
established, it seems a perfect time to post them. The FSH windows are
always an amazing feast for the eyes, and the pieces on display of such
exquisite splendor. The arrangements and colors combinations are also a wonderful source of inspiration,
and I hope this and the coming posts (windows #3-6 coming tomorrow, and
the rest the next day) will inspire your spring wardrobe too. xx
Window #1
That pico in croc is sooooo beautiful! Love the color too....now that is the kind of window shopping I adore!
ReplyDeleteAgree with you on the croc Picotin, it,s simply stunning!
DeleteThank you, dear MaiTai, for this virtual trip to FSH - brilliant photos as always! The pictures really beam me up to summer! So much airiness in the photos!!!
ReplyDeleteMessage #The Librain: Dear Anni, your desired scarf "Au couer de la vie" in pink is again available on the german Hermes site. Perhaps this message could help you reaching this wonderful scarf...
Best wishes from germany Claudia
Hope you'll enjoy the next windows too! So kind of you to give an update on the Au coeur de la vie, many thanks!

DeleteAnd there it is...
ReplyDeleteproof that even perfection can, apparently, be improved upon.

ReplyDeleteThese kind of details are so rare, I'm inspired too :-)
DeleteThe croc Pico has me entranced!! These windows are very "Mai Tai"....elegant simplicity, Love whites and tans together! Can't wait for more~
ReplyDeleteHope you'll enjoy the upcoming windows, dear haverfordgal! The croc Pico stole my heart too...
DeleteDearest MaiTai,
ReplyDeleteI longed already for the pictures of the windows. They are always so wonderful and you introduce them absolutely great.I have been so "sad" that I couldn´t see anything when I was in Paris in march because they have been covered with curtains... Now I´m excited what you will show us and maybe what you have bought. Thank so much.
Have a nice week. Gabriele
My heart always beats faster when approching FSH, you never know if new displays replaced the previous ones, or if the windows are under construction. I didn't buy anything at Hermes on that trip, but I found my yellow happy shoes at Roger Vivier's. Have a great week too!
DeleteDear Mai Tai,
ReplyDeleteThanks for this wonderful gift!!!
I don't know a better way to start my Monday..
Such beauty!!!!
It's food for soul.. I can't wait to see more pics and I'm looking forward to more of your "source of inspiration" capsules..
Thanks again for yor kindness and generosity..
regards from Barcelona
So glad you enjoyed these, dear ilsa! Have a wonderful week!
DeleteWe would like to see more of you!
ReplyDeleteRegards
There's already so much of me, all the time! And for sure I'll be back once the windows have finished :-)
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThe windows are beautiful and I am especially interested in the white canvas bag. I tried looking for it online but could not even find the style... Do you know the name of that particular bag?
Thanks in advance.
The white canvas bag looks like an equestrian/grooming bag to me. I'm not familiar with these, and therefor can't say if it is a 'one-off' for the windows, or part of the collection. The best thing would be to check directly with an Hermès store. Good luck!
