Also, kudos to photog for capturing your style on the streets of Paris<3 T xx
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed part two, my dearest friend! Wish there would be a part III... already miss Paris. Couldn't be happier with the C et L, and only discovered recently how great it is with coloured jeans.. I always felt it stood out just a little bit too much when wearing just neutrals. Have a most wonderful and fabulous Sunday too! Big mwahs <3
DeleteVery beautiful, I love the colors you have chosen.
ReplyDeleteYou're a lucky I adore la rue du cherche midi, is there always "Poilane" shop? I'
Thank you for these photos !
Anne Marie
Hello chère Anne Marie, Love the rue du Cherche Midi too, and yes, the Poilâne shop is still there!
DeleteWhat beautiful produce at the marche. It is getting much easier to find a local farmers market in London than in the past, but there is still nothing like the abundance of fresh produce markets of Paris. I really miss buying fruit and veg daily on the way home to eat fresh for dinner. Susan, London
ReplyDeleteThe marchés really are gems, and how great that more and more farmers markets come up in London.. it's such a lovely way to shop.
DeleteWow! As always you look spectacular. Love your spring colors. Den x
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Den, happy you like the look! x
DeleteDearest MaiTai,
ReplyDeleteI have loved seeing both of these Paris posts, and your tour is as wonderfull as usual.
Love these colours on you ,but then the neturals from the last post were fabulous too.
Have a lovely weekend
Jane x
So happy you enjoyed coming along dearest Jane, and that you liked both looks. Merci! x
DeleteYou look lovely! The colors of the scarf are so vivid and summery, they suit you so well!
ReplyDeleteI was really glad to have brought the shawl, it brightened up a grey summer’s day!
DeleteWonderful, you look so utterly glamorous here.
ReplyDeleteI'm just back from your part of the world, I was celebrating my 50th - the heat! I was so grateful for the dull day in Blighty today.
I'm off to the Cipriani again later in the year - my present from mum!
Oh, Tabitha - 50 is so fun! Congratulations and may the year ahead bring you adventure and happiness.
DeleteWarm aloha,
Fifi
Happy belated birthday! Hope you had a wonderful celebration, despite the heatwave. And how great to have the Cipriani to look forward too!
DeleteYou are very often to Paris, may be for business?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful look.
Barbara
By train, Paris is not far from us.. so I take the opportunity as often as I can! Most of the time it’s part fun, part business :-)
DeleteGreat pics! I'm a big fan of the updo and you have always done it quite well but I'm suddenly liking this very casual and youthful hair down look on you.
ReplyDeleteYou always take a great pic.
Thanks GSL, so nice to know you like the pics and relaxed hairstyle.
DeleteLove your outfit - the turquoise of the scarf with your red trousers looks splendid. I like the look of those shiny new scarf rings too. xx
ReplyDeleteCan’t think why I didn’t try the red jeans with the CenL before! x
DeleteDear MaiTai -- The Paris markets look so abundant! Here in the Pacific Northwest United States, we have had so much rain and gloom, our veggies are looking a bit sad and undersized. We are all waiting eagerly for summer. Dear MaiTai, how do you pull off red pants? I had a pair of red jeans and I felt so...VISIBLE when I wore them. Ended up giving them away. You rock them!
ReplyDeleteWarm aloha,
Fifi
Hope your skies will be sunny and blue soon again, dear Fifi! Funny re the red trousers, I have another pair in a brighter red which I hardly ever wear… they stand out too much! ;-)
DeleteBeautiful in these colours MTai so stunning.
ReplyDeleteI want to wish a late good birthday to
Tabitha...
Monica
Many thanks, chère Monica!
DeleteWhat a beautiful post! You bet I love the Postcard from Paris II, my dearest Mai Tai! :-)
ReplyDeleteI would never have guessed that the coral trousers would match Ceintures et Liens as well as they do! Always learning... :-)
It is a perfect and very summery combo, my dear, and you look stunning! These are some of my favourite pictures of you and, as always, you always choose the right pictures and the right colours for your posts achieving perfect harmony. <3
Love it all and am so happy to be shawl twins with you! Big mwahs to you, Manuela xx
The coral trousers were a wonderful surprise for me too, my dearest CenL twin! Always learning too…:-) We had such a happy time in Paris, and it’s so nice to know it comes through in the pictures…. thanks so much for the lovely words! <3 Have a wonderful remaining week xx
DeleteMy dark red trousers became one of my favourites...so totally unexpected...thanks for ever-lasting inspiration, dear.
ReplyDeleteYour market photos converted me into an addict with time...I am a hobby gardener, however, I am truly tempted to convert it into job, in spite of my totally different professional background.
Well, have you ever seen a lady selling the fresh own produces at the market wearing a Hermes scarf?
Hugs, Lea
Tell me where you’ll set up your stall, and I’ll fly over with my market basket! No need to describe the location to specifically, I’m sure I’ll spot the Hermès scarf wearing producer in a heartbeat! x
DeleteDear MaiTai, when I see that scarf "Ceintures et Liens" I have immediately to think of Venice...;-) ...so summery and chic your combination! Despite of the rainy streets you are looking like summer herself! Best wishes Claudia
ReplyDeleteI think of Venice every time too when I wear this scarf, my dearest Claudia. I was so glad I brought it along, Paris was so much cooler than the south.. the shawl was perfect to keep warm in a summery way!
DeleteTurquoise and coral always look so beautiful together in summer. Perfect - you look tres' chic! I have a treasured pair of flat Hermes sandals - almost a decade old - in gold box calf with inlaid turquoise and coral stones. Perhaps I'll soon include them in a collage with my also treasured Mai Tai pieces for an action shot. They look great with the aqua waterfall necklace. :)
ReplyDeleteAs always admiring your graceful and very chic style - and once again I noticed, how you "miraculously" manage to make your lovely pics "match" your look. ;-) with many hugs, Macs
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, dearest Macs! Hugs right back xx
DeleteMagnifique! You look beautiful in your souvenir from Venice...love it with your coral jeans. I just love your post cards from Paris, and thank you for taking us along dear MaiTai. Have a wonderful week! Warmly, Simone xx
ReplyDeleteMerci, dearest Simone! The shawl has such special and beautiful memories woven into it... I call it my Venice scarf :-) So happy you enjoy the Paris post cards, thank you for coming along with me! xx
DeleteYou look great! I don't know of any other woman over 50 who can wear their hair this length, not even Ines DLF! Are you sure you are over 50? ;-)
ReplyDeleteFifty one, to be precise! And I know quite a few women over 50 who look great with long hair :-) I don't think I've ever seen a picture of Ines wearing hers long, but she rocks the short tousled bob!
Delete51?!?! You and Tabs are doing something right...I'm gonna have to order 1 of your scarves and work on my MaiTai sidewinder pose!
DeleteDon't bother with the sidewinder or scarf, have fun and couple of glasses of wine a day!
DeleteI've got that move.
DeleteHappy to read about your recipe of your young charisma! I love to drink wine, too, but I never thought that this could preserve a younger appearance... Many thanks Claudia
DeleteI so admire your style. Such an inspiration. You manage to be chic and hip. Loving your postcard series... I will be travelling to Paris and on to Nice with my young daughter. First time for us so your posts have become very helpful in itinerary planning. Any suggestions for us (as in don't miss this) would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the kind and lovely comment, dear alana! Wishing you and your daughter a most wonderful trip, and hope you'll bring back many beautiful and special memories. Re Paris tips, please check this link: http://www.maitaispicturebook.com/search/label/Paris
DeleteWhen in Nice, you could visit nearby Cannes, Eze, Villefranche-sur-Mer and Monte Carlo. Have fun!
