Hermes FSH - Autumn window inspiration part II (of three)

I hope you enjoy the second part of Hermes' Paris autumn windows and that they provide you with fun and useful wardrobe inspiration!

I always liked to add a touch of rust to autumn neutrals, but wouldn't have thought to include a brighter blue if it wasn't for the picture above. Really love how it freshens up the entire look.

Capsule wardrobe: dark denim jeans, grey sweater and rust cardigan
Accessories: Hermes Picotin 18 in sapphire, printed Chaine d'Ancre enamel bracelet and La Presentation de Cheveaux 90 carré.
Scarf knot: Cowboy knot

La Presentation de Chevaux (click here to see the sunflower yellow version in the previous post)

The string of gold beads that frame the centre design of the La Presentation de Chevaux make it a perfect scarf to team with pearls or beads... below with pearls 07/2009

Blues and grey variation - Wearing La Femme aux Semelles de Vent in a rectangular pleated fold

such a fabulous handle!

Capsule pieces: black trousers and black sweater with zig-zag border (Maje)
Carré en Carré 90 scarf in an Anneau Infinity necklace
Other accessories: Hermes Kelly 32 in ebene and large printed Grand Apparat enamel bracelet

A picture from the archives (04/2015): Orange sweater, ecru trousers and a Ex Libris CSGM in a basic bias fold looped once around the neck. Other accessories: Hermes Clic H bracelet in marron glacé.

The color combination of the above leather jacket reminded me instantly of a tunic I found at Etro a few years back. It has become a much loved wardrobe staple for dressier looks, as it is easy to style in different ways for day and night.
Capsule wardrobe piece: printed silk tunic
Accessories: Hermes Picotin 22 in rubis and Kelly Dog bracelet in black croc.

Variation...with a Kachina Maxi Twilly instead of the necklace

    1. Happy you liked the pictures, many thanks! The design of the silk is Flamingo Party. It is not a scarf though, but a top from the pret-à-porter collection. The Flamingo Party as a 90 scarf is available on h.com, but not in the CW as pictured with the bag.

  2. Wonderful ideas as usual, dear MT! The Etro tunic is stunning. I like how you keep your pieces for years; they never go out of style. It's fun to pop back to the past for another look at these versatile beauties.

    Warm aloha to everyone --

  3. Thanks for the beautiful photos! Great outfit inspirations! I especially like the window with the cognac/rust, teal, olive & blue. I love wearing this color combination & it inspires me to do more tonal variations & add blue.

  6. Superb ideas, and great photos as usual - you truly are 'our agent in the Faubourg'!
Could I take the opportunity to ask if you will be offering again the waterfall necklaces in the orange tones - they would go so well with these colours...

  8. Très chère MT,
I just love the combo orange fuchsia and black even if I never dared to try on me ... I'll work on it. Thanks for bringing FSH to us and especially doing all these style sheets-pictures, they are all so inspiring.
Happy week end to you and all the swans around even if I'm not very present here for the moment I follow everything with so much pleasure ;-),
    Catherine.

  9. Dearest Mai Tai,

What a pleasure to see H windows through your lens. I was also wandering what the beautiful silk inside the bag was but have already read your answer.
It is nice to see old pieces that you keep on combining beautifully. As I wrote previously I very much like your cardigan jn 'rust'. A beautiful colour for Autumn. Have a lovely Sunday my dear. Love, Manuela

  10. The rectangular pleated fold! My favorite! And I know I say that every time with each new presentation, but the rectangular pleated fold really is one of my favorites--it's just so classic and easy perfection.

Gosh--that bright blue really does make the grey and rust pop--what a discovery! I feel like now that it is finally fall in the Deep South, I'm ready to pull out these cooler clothes and get to putting some outfits together! If only the cold weather will last...I'm afraid we'll be back in shorts this weekend!

Thanks for transporting us to the City of Lights to see the H windows--it's so lovely to travel with you!

    xoxo--Greta

    1. So happy to hear that autumn has arrived, dearest Greta! Hope the warm weekend weather was just a glitch and that cooler weather will reign again soon. Love the rectangular fold too, but the name is much too long... will think of it as 'Greta's knot' in the future! xxx
