FSH windows

Dearest All,

This is just a small note to say hello, as it's been already a month since the last post.  The last few weeks have been busy with the development of new projects, supporting DS during his final school exams, organizing the summer and university for the autumn,  as well as the usual of running a business and taking care of my family and dogs. This didn't leave me with time to blog, but all is happy and well.

I miss blogging and will get to it again as soon as I can. In the meantime I hope you enjoy the views of the current Hermes summer windows, and that they might provide you with some fresh inspiration for your summer wardrobe.

Have a wonderful week everyone and, see you again soon xx

  1. You are definitely missed, dearest MaiTai - but family always comes first! What an exciting time when your child grows into an adult, finishes school and enters the university world. I hope the exams went well - in our part of Germany the results came last Friday and next week Friday everyone is dismissed from school. One chapter closed. I’m really glad to know that the wiener boys are ready to fill a bit of the gap when DS leaves home! Your pictures from FSH are a lovely compensation for the drawn blinds on my last visit. Hermès seems to go all geometrical! The colours are indeed a preview for fall that’s coming sooner than we may think (at least in the shops!) Thanks so much for sharing and enjoy some wonderful weeks with your son, without any pressure! All the best and warmest congrats to the young man, bisous, Katja

    1. Dearest Katja, - missed being here too! Hope the exams went well for your kids and that everyone is enjoying their well deserved summer holidays! Our exam results won't come before July, even though the graduation ceremony was in May. DS's university place is confirmed, so at least we are not sitting on hot coals in the meantime. Can't tell you how often I've been staring at those drawn blinds at FSH. My heart beats a little bit faster every time I approach the store...Hugs and bisous, and have a wonderful Sunday xx

  2. Oh, those poor windows - no art or fantasy to them at all, and it looks like very little effort, as well. Just hum drum and pretty blah.

Leila, please come out of retirement and get back in those windows!

Thanks for posting them, though, MT and a hello to all the Swans. I'm now a resident of North Carolina. Unfortunately, it is hotter here than Atlanta - heat index of 105 today. Must look into moving to Alaska or, perhaps, Lapland.

    Happy summer to you all,
    Jerrine

    1. Congratulations on your move, Dearest! Hopefully the weather will be more agreeable than Atlanta for the rest of the year. Otherwise I join you in Lapland, at least for the summer months!
Poor Mr Platteau.. what an impossible 'dream job' to take over from Leila Menchari! Best to look at the displays in context to the others nearby.. and the magic unfolds ;)

    1. Thank you, dearest Tanja! DS will be studying in the UK, so it's at least not too far away. Hope all is well, and wishing you and your family a very happy summer! Hugs

    1. Dear Jana, - so happy you enjoy the blog, many thanks! I found most of my Picotins over the years at my local H, the Etoupe was the only one I asked them to do a search for. I am sure your boutique will receive the colors you like eventually, just ask your SA to let you know once they are there. With a little bit of patience it should all work out. Wishin you the best of luck!
