It's been a busy early summer, and I am still very much immersed in new projects and working on new ideas. Having not had much time to shop, I'm accessorizing trusted wardrobe essentials instead. Some of these go back to the early days of the blog (the purple sweater was featured in 2010), while most of the others go back half a decade, which also includes the scarves and bracelets. Love them as much now as I did then, and with the arrival of the new generation long gemstone necklaces it was great fun to explore new ways to wear and accessorize those staple pieces.

ReplyDeleteBravo!
My gawd, the gemstone necklaces just keep getting better and better- those colors!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I think you should sell prints of your photos in the shop. That shot of the lonely iron gate - so beautiful and evocative. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
A toast to your many talents and much love,
Jerrine
You are an absolutely beautiful woman with genuine class! Thank you for all of these inspiring pictures.
ReplyDeleteDearest Tai,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely surprise to see this purple and green post, so lush and inspiring!
New necklaces are impossible to resist, and complement the sacrves and outfits perfectly. I cherish mine, an earlier version, and it is a best companion while travelling, bringing me joy and ggod luck.
I am with Jerrine, the pictures are print-worthy and I can truly see the album edition of them, as the seasons in Provence kaleidoscope.
with warmest regards from south of Canada,
Aneta
Old or new, no matter where or when, you always pull it all together with such ease! Your new necklaces and other accessories really do add just the right touch!
ReplyDeleteITA with Jerrine about the photos! Love that garden gate!
Looking forward to seeing your new projects come into play!
Happy Summer darling,MT! Mwahs<3 T xx
Great idea regarding the Seasons of Provence album, Aneta. Don't you think that Trudye, you and I should serve as the editors?
ReplyDeleteI have been staring at that gate. If not too big, wouldn't it make a fabulous headboard! Perhaps, we take a break from our editorial duties and scour Provence for more . . . and start a little export furniture business.
Best to all,
Jerrine
Sounds like a plan! Let’s do it!

Dear MaiTai, I am happy you found the time for another blogpost. I always enjoy your posts and the pictures which inspire me to wear my scarves. You always look so fresh and elegant. I could not resist your new scarf rings in gold and silver and ordered them straight away. They arrived yesterday and they are so stylish. I am looking forward to wearing them. Next purchase might be one of those beautiful necklaces.... Happy summer! Cynthia
ReplyDeleteYou must have had your wardrobe and scarf colours in mind when ordering these necklaces! They are such a perfect match and turn every outfit, however old, into a completely new one. You master the art of dressing incredibly well- just as well as taking pictures. I agree with Andra, Jerrine and Trudye- a book should be on your never ending project list one day! Thanks for your continuous inspiration, very much appreciated. Enjoy a beautiful summer, Katja
ReplyDeleteDearest Mai Tai,

:-) Dear MaiTai,
ReplyDeleteas a purple lover, I'm head over heels in love with your new necklaces! I just think I'm a tad too short for them...
Beautiful pictures and I agree with the ladies above - you should have your photos printed and made into greeting cards.
Have a very HAPPY July!
Claudia :-)
