Re-discovering the joys of wearing the Picotin 26/GM as a shoulder bag!
Well, the Wiener almost managed to steal the show but not quite. You found some beautiful new treasures in those autumn windows. Exotics seem to be abundant, and it looks like H. is concentrating on the goods and not the displays. I suppose that’s wise, but I have to admit . . . I miss the Menchari fantasy and opulence.

I won't tell the Wiener! True regarding the windows, I very much miss the breathtaking magic of Leila Menchari's windows, too. ReplyDeletethanks for sharing the new Hermès windows with us. I agree with Jerrine, that I loved the Menchari windows a lot. These are pretty, but they're so clean and sleek. Fall and winter call for more opulence in my opinion.
So I think your new gold tone Anneau rings are beautiful and I like the idea of combining them with others. It gives the scarves a completely new dimension.
Love your little Wiener Boys. This one looks like he wanted to kiss you ;-)

Wish Hermes would listen to us, and take a different direction ;) The windows are not as sleek as you imagine, probably because I took mostly close-ups. The picture above the Carré en Carré in a Half-Bow knot probably gives the best idea...(it's the corner window). The little Wiener sends a kiss! Here in Ontario the leaves just started turning and the nature has been as generous as last year with its bountiful crop of autumnal colours, so inspiring.
I was looking back at the past years' posts of your blog, and sadly most of the images are blurry, maybe something to do with Photobucket? Would it be something I need to do on my end in order to be able to see the pictures clearly? Thank you in advance for letting me know.

DeleteOn the other hand, the situation with Photobucket is unfortunate indeed. It's an image hosting service I used in the early days for a yearly subscription fee of around 29 USD. All was good until a couple of years ago, when a new CEO took over: he had the genius idea to boost revenue by increasing the yearly fee to 400 USD. The subscribers left in drones, and the CEO shortly after ;)
His successor quickly lowered the price again, but this wasn’t enough to re-store their customer's confidence and trust. So their new idea was to blur everyone's pictures in an effort to coerce their subscribers back. My plan is to replace the pictures instead, but I can only do so while they are blurred, otherwise I don't know which ones are affected. As tempting as it is to go for the quick fix and re-subscribe, I prefer not to deal with them at all in the long run. Unfortunately I'm currently very busy with a big project, but will get done to 'blog-restauration' as soon as I have the time!

Thank you also for taking time explaining in detail the issue with Photobucket. I wholeheartedly agree with your approach, as the way Photobucket handled their pricing has not been fair, and not a at all a good business practice. It would be definitely worth the wait to see the older pictures in their full glory, once you have time to embark on the photo rescue mission.
The new big project sounds very, very exciting, and I cannot wait for the reveal.
I am jumping to the new post about gravity defying scarf rings, such a brilliant innovation and definitely a must have addition to the Collection.
