I love neutrals and I love cooking, which is why the 'Aux Pays des Epices' is one of my favorite scarves. Many of the spices pictured on the scarf are staples in my kitchen, others I only use rarely and some are yet to be experimented with. Today wearing my scarf like a necklace, in a full Ascot knot.

This is just wonderful MaiTai...neutrals done beautifully! And I love the way you are wearing the scarf. I have always loved that scarf, hope to find it one day.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! Your use of neutrals is inspiring. Teamed with the elegant and restrained use of H you elevate an outfit so perfectly! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteHi Julia,
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear from you and that you enjoy the updates.
Thank you for your kind comment, wishing you a lovely day too! <3
MaiTai--you my dear, as always, are the picture of loveliness.
ReplyDeleteDear DB, I was thinking of you when I posted the pics, as I know you love neutrals just as much as I do! <3
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! You look so classic.
ReplyDelete(My husband gave me the "Epices" carré last year for a holiday gift in the rust/brown colorway. It's one of my favorites!)
Thank you Deja Pseu. What a sweet hubby you have and he has obviously great taste, love the CW he gave you. :-)
ReplyDeleteandiamo, hugs!!
ReplyDeleteHello - The colours may be "neutral" but your elegance is in "overdrive". Gorgeous, as always. This is also one of my favorites and I am still on the hunt for one!
ReplyDeleteSuejm
Thank you for your lovely words suejm. I have seen them occasionaly popping up on h.com, it is worth keeping an eye. Fingers crossed for finding one! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the hint. I'm having difficulty finding this lovely, rich CW. The US will not ship to my country. Thanks for the encouragement.
ReplyDeleteS
Hi suejm, sorry to hear the US is not an option. It is worth it to check the european h online boutiques too, I have seen it from time to time popping up there. You can also try I 'Its-All-Goode', the link is on my blog. Go to 'Practical infos' and then click 'Shopping for vintage H scarves'. She has a beautiful neutral one, not mine exactly, but cream/white/pale blue. She keeps getting new stock, perhaps you could even ask her if she could locate one. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteWould love a tutorial on doing the half ascot!
ReplyDeleteFashionista,MD I have put it on the how-to to-do list! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy news!!! The SM of my closest store found this gorgeous carre for me and when it arrived I was so thrilled at how even MORE beautiful it is "in person". BTW, this "silky slope" is fast becoming a "silky path"...is that a "silk road" in the distance? LOL
ReplyDeleteS
Many congratulations suejm, I am so happy for you!!! Enjoy your beautiful scarf in health and happines. And yes, it will all end up on a multilane silk highway ;-)
