Beautiful, thanks for the inspiration I think I'll wheel my creamy white blazer out again once the weather warms up here. I didn't comment on the previous post but isn't the orange/taupe combinations gorgeous. Axx
Those tapestry taupe/cream bags and the lace kelly could look so granny-like, but put them in an Hermes window and shazaam . . . they look like a million dollars! Something about a brand, I guess! Thanks so much for the pictures! Claire
Hi Jo, in July and August it gets so hot that I prefer to stay by the pool... We'll take DS and a friend from time to time though (while trying to stay cool under a parasol!).
Dear MT this window is not at all my taste. May be I a m the only one but I hate the tapestry..... The classic cream vest why not, simple and very well cut iog course but all remaining bags I dont like. Even nicely picured! Warmly Monica
Crème fraîche! Although I do agree whole heartedly with Monica :(...I'm not a fan of the tapestry or even the lace Kelly. Beautiful photos, though. Keep them coming! Barbara A
Thank you for stopping by and commenting, my dear ladies <3 Very much enjoying the lively discussion re the lacy Kelly and quilted/jacquard Bolides :-) Perhaps they are not my personal style, but I admire the craftmenship, and find it wonderful that techniques of another epoque are used to create such exquisite and feminine masterpieces. Styling wise, I can imagine these to be beautiful in combination with polished and elegant outfits in light neutrals, or a even crocheted summer dress...they can be anything, much depending on the wearer and her style.
I agree with you , dearest MaiTai. Although I don't think I would carty them myself, I think that mainly the Kelly could look quite nice depending on the outfit and the lady carrying it. Besides that, they represent a very hard and extremely perfect handwork, which I admire. Your photographs are of very high quality too, my dear. Thank you.
Dearest MaiTai, Another beautiful window! I am always so elated by the unparalleled sense of balance in H's extraordinary windows. How sensual is the dark "wave" where all the treasures sit, and I too love the creamy necklace. I love what you and dear Manuela said - given just the right outfit and the right feeling, it will all be magical. I adore the Bolides and the Kelly - they warmly remind me of the beautiful things my grandmother used to make. For me, everything H is an object and a work of art that carries me away into another fantastical world…I love each one. Much love and big H hugs xxx
Oh gosh - is it wrong if what I really want is that creamy blazer?
ReplyDeletethat Kelly is really something- just beautiful.Looking forward to the rest of the series
