The picture below is only from yesterday, so it's safe to say these two spring lambs have survived Easter
Beautiful looks! Happy Easter, everyone!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Greta! Hope you had a lovely Easter!
DeleteLovely new additions and perfect Spring looks, dearest Tai! A beautiful harbinger of Spring to come!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring! Mwahs, T xx
Thank you, darling Trudye! Hope you are enjoying a happy and beautiful spring! Mwahs to you and the Bengal Boys xxx
DeleteHappy Easter! The comment about the lambs made me smile, they look so postcard perfect in this picture :-)
ReplyDeleteI am very pleased that I was able to order scarf pochettes before they disappeared! Even though the travel is off the table for now, scarf organisation is not :-)
Lovely spring post, dear Tai, everything looks so fresh and fullof promise this time of the year.
Best wishes to all,
Aneta
Hope you had a happy and wonderful Easter, dearest Aneta! There was something incredibly endearing about those - white as snowflakes - lambs, and I am happy to report that I saw them again today. So glad you didn't miss out on the pochettes and hope you have fun organising your scarf collection.
DeleteHope you are enjoying a beautiful and happy spring and have a great week <3
Dearest Tai,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post! Hope you had a wonderful Easter. Love the Index Palmarum in the Palmier knot. Thank you for keeping on teaching us so many pretty ways of tying our scarves. Take care and stay healthy darling.
Much love to you,
Manuela
Thanks so much, dearest Manuela. Hope you had a lovely and happy Easter, too! The Palmier knot has become one of my favourites, it is so simple and yet quite elegant. Take care too, and stay healthy and well! Much love xxx
DeleteI enjoy your blog so much and love your take on so many different colorways. Can you please identify the shrub or tree with the white drop blossom with the interesting leaves in your photo above. It is beautiful! Thanks for all the beauty you bring to us. Have a happy spring--hope you are "sprung" free from curfew.
ReplyDeleteHello Robyn, - please forgive this late reply to your kind comment. I don't know the name of the plant with the white bell blossom ... I come across it in the spring when walking the dogs. In any case it's more like a grass than a tree or shrub. Curfew should end on Saturday! Happy spring to you, too!
DeleteHello Robyn, - I just downloaded this wonderful app that identifies flowers and plants. The botanical name of the white drop blossom is Silene Vulgaris, and it is known as Maiden's Tears, Cowbell, Campion or Catchflies. The app is called "Picture This" and the subscription is 19.99 per year. Worth every penny.
DeleteI am always amazed at how you take such beautiful inspiration photos, in themselves so gorgeous, and then you build an outfit with the perfect scarf.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you dress, so classic. where you do get most of your sweaters and lightweight knits? I can't wear wool. I"d love to have a good source for lightweight cotton or silk. Thank you!!
Tracey
Hello Tracy, - thanks so much for the kind comment, I am so happy you enjoy the blog. Most of my sweaters for colder weather are from merino wool (Tippi by JCrew) and the rest of the year it's too warm for sweaters ... I do like the softness and quality of Majestic Filatures basics, and I think they have some silk options, too.
DeleteDear MT,
ReplyDeleteAny colour will do for you! You know how to put it together so well. By the way, any updates on DS's university life? These lockdowns must make it difficult for him to travel home for the breaks! Wishing you and your family well! Emily
Thank you very much, Emily. DS is loving university life, although it is very sad that we haven't seen him nearly enough in the past 14 months. Stay healthy, safe and well!
